We had a lot of fun walking around the lake the other day, and I wanted to post some pictures to show that it is not all hard here. We are (mostly) enjoying being here and growing as people and as a family. There are struggles, but also some really great times. Please use this link to see our photos:
I tried to post them here on my blog, but apparently 38 photos is too many for one post! The photos are from one walk around the lake near our house, and I think you will see from the pictures the many contradictions of Bangalore. We are in the middle of the city, and yet also the wild jungle surrounds us. There are massive beautiful apartments being built all around, and yet the construction workers (both men and women) live in what we would consider a tent in the US. There is beauty and poverty and wealth and trash and wonderful life all around us. The kids also caught some lizards, bugs and frogs, a few of which I caught on camera.
